UNBOUND LEARNING

The boldest thing we can do for a child is design learning systems truly built for them.

Unbound because the students who need change the most can't wait.

ABOUT UNBOUND LEARNING

The boldest thing we can do for a child is design learning systems truly built for them — not systems retrofitted, patched, or incrementally adjusted, but fundamentally reimagined from the inside out. The work is to partner with educators, schools, districts, and other invested organizations ready to evolve learning systems — transforming how curriculum is designed, how learning is personalized, how competency is measured, how adult and learner mindsets are cultivated, and how equity is woven into the architecture of everything.

Amalia Pock is one of the most intentional, transformational, and student-centered leaders I have ever had the privilege of working with. She leads with a rare combination of vision, compassion, intentionality, and authenticity. What impressed me most was not simply her belief in the work, but her commitment to implementation. Amalia trained and empowered her entire staff to facilitate lessons focused on self-awareness, communication, accountability, empathy, leadership, and resilience as part of the everyday student experience. Her care for both students and staff is evident in everything she does, and the impact of her leadership can be felt the moment you step onto campus.

What Partners Are Saying

I had the privilege of working alongside Amalia Pock and witnessing first hand her extraordinary ability to transform educational systems while always keeping students at the center of every decision. Amalia’s visionary leadership in overseeing a large federal grant supporting the implementation of a performance-based learning system, along with her innovative work leading alternative education programs, resulted in meaningful increases in student engagement and graduation rates. She has a remarkable talent for leveraging the strengths of her staff to create high-interest, relevant learning experiences that support literacy development, English Learners, and students’ social-emotional growth. Amalia believes deeply in providing learners with authentic opportunities—including internships, athletics, student leadership, and other experiences that foster connectedness, inclusion, and joy. Her creativity, commitment, and unwavering focus on what students need to thrive make her an exceptional educational leader.

Working with Amalia was an absolute pleasure. As a national non-profit, we work with schools and partners across the country, and found Amalia's consistency, commitment, and follow-through noteworthy and incredibly helpful to advancing our shared goals. She brought a wealth of knowledge on student success and educational systems, which also allowed her to go above and beyond our project together, providing crucial insights on how to grow our work by identifying the right partners, important funding streams, and opportunities to showcase our program. Amalia is a wonderful partner and invaluable resource.
